Need for "Accept As Is" option

J

The beautiful new summary report highlights the need for an option to mark errors and suggestions as accepted without further action. Now the value of the summary report is considerably watered down as every ignored error or suggestion is included as an error. Not all the reported errors are real errors, neither are all suggetions valid!

Agreed! This is so frustrating! Not all suggestions of "errors" are correct, and once I've dealt with them, I don't want them to continue to be flagged--once I've cleared them, they need to stay cleared. We also need a way to report erroneous suggestions.

Serious problem when using italics. makes a 112,000 word manuscript unusable

Toward the end of my story, I become heavily involved with mental talk. When I try to correct the italics, it changes pages on pages to all italics. Makes the entire manuscript trash.

Dear ProWritingAid:

I'm having a good day and hoping it is the same for you. Thanks to your lovely product I am almost completed with my book the publisher is waiting for.

My Issue: I need to know how to permanently and individually delete a flag and not disable a rule that might apply to the rest of the document.

I want to eventually see 0 flags, 0 issues.
This is what the publisher wants to see, as well. It could hold up publication to find so many errors. Should an editor decide to go ahead with so many flags, and they may not -- even though I have already paid for professionally editing ($$$!) - they will only do this one time.

Types of flags I would like to permanently delete:
1. copyright statement grammatical errors
2. pronounciation spellings for a word
3. drop cap -- PWA doesn't recognize the drop cap
4. errors found in an attributed quotation
5. odd spellings of a website or email

I am asking for your suggestions and help because the unecessary flags are holding me up.

Please call or let me know.

Sincerely,

Snowye

There also needs to be a mechanism on the page for reporting a suggestion as incorrect, perhaps even a place to explain why. Grammarly has this feature, so it is possible.
