Needs a “Suspend PWA for XX amount of time” switch

PWA needs a switch to suspend its use giving the option of an on/off switch and a timer switch so it doesn’t do checks for a certain amount of time. I’m doing National Novel Writing Month and we often have writing sprints where you write as much of your novel as possible in a certain amount of time, usually 10-20 minute range. But PWA is a killer (in a bad way) for sprints because it keeps popping up modal boxes during the sprint wanting an action and covering up the screen. I just want to suspend PWA for 10 minutes, or however long the sprint is, to not get in the way while writing in Scrivener. I submitted a ticket asking this about a week ago with zero reply other than the automated script reply.
